Eucharistic Adoration

Weekly Friday Eucharistic Adoration in the parish office chapel is currently suspended but we are hopeful to be able to resume in the near future. Part of what will help us make this decision is knowing whether or not we will have the dedicated adorers to fill the weekly adoration hours. We are currently updating our adorer roster, if you are willing and able to cover one hour of adoration every Friday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. please contact the parish office. This could be something you do as an individual, or as a family. Eucharistic adoration is a fantastic opportunity to grow in intimacy with our Lord, Jesus Christ, who loves you abundantly. In the meantime, we are investigating some slight renovations to the Parish Center Chapel that will add an altar and fixed tabernacle to this space. This will allow for people to pray with our Eucharistic Lord without the need for committed adorers required by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. It will also allow for Mass to be celebrated in the parish office chapel. Please contact the parish office if you would like to donate toward these efforts.

Good Shepherd Church is very blessed to have weekly adoration of the Holy Eucharist each Friday of the year. Following the daily Mass from 8:15 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., the Blessed Sacrament is exposed for adoration and prayer in the Good Shepherd Chapel adjacent to the parish office. If you are interested in committing to an hour or to be placed on the substitution list, please contact the Parish Office. The Eucharistic Adoration coordinator is Bunny Fox.

In addition, Eucharistic Adoration will precede the daily Mass in the church on Wednesdays (7:30 to 8:15 a.m.) and Fridays (6:30 to 7:15 a.m.). Benediction takes place at 7:20 a.m. on Fridays.

Adoremus in aeternum sanctissimum Sacramentum
