Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a faith formation program that uses hands-on materials to guide children into deeper prayer with God. The method is rooted in Sacred Scripture, Liturgy, and respect for the child’s rich relationship with God. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd looks to be a whole parish initiative allowing each parishioner to help, using their own unique gifts, to form the youngest of our parish.
Fall enrollment for Level I is now open!
Level I Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is open to children ages 3-6 years old. This faith formation program emphasizes teaching the most basic truths to the youngest child. In level I, we focus on Jesus, as the Good Shepherd, that He is real and He loves us very much. The child also begins to learn the basics of the liturgy.
Classes begin Wednesday, October 4, 2023- May 1, 2024 with breaks following the Good Shepherd School Schedule.
Our atrium will be held on Wednesday from 4:15-5:30 pm.
