Lectio: Prayer--Finding Intimacy with God

In the Bible and the writings of the Church, prayer is described as an intimate conversation with God. For many people, however, prayer often feels dry and boring. If this applies to you, or if you want to rediscover the beauty of prayer, join our next adult formation series at Good Shepherd! Beginning June 5, this six-part series facilitated by Alex Erickson will teach the time-honored prayer method of Lectio Divina (Prayer with Scripture). You’ll learn how to have intimate conversations with God, how to hear God speaking to you, and discover the beauty of Scripture. For this series, we will use the Lectio: Prayer series found on Formed. Each session will feature a 30-minute video, followed by time for questions, reflection, and discussion.
