Expanding Our Horizons
As we look forward to another liturgical year at Good Shepherd, we look forward to expanding some learning and sharing opportunities for our parishioners and friends.
Spirituality– This Thursday evening program, led by Deacon Kevin O’Connor, will be drawn from readings on a weekly basis. Groups will gather as one and then break out into smaller groups for discussion of the reading and some guided questions and answers. September 28-October 26, 7 p.m.
Evangelization Initiative: Witness– The final stage of the Evangelization Initiative of the Archdiocese meets weekly. Participants discuss the prescribed reading and thresh out the how’s and why’s of witnessing to the Catholic faith. Many of our parishioners have participated in the first two stages (Awake and Transformation), but all parishioners are invited and encouraged to participate in this call to make “Jesus Christ known and loved in our time by choosing to live out the Gospel in every moment.” Lent.
Bible Study– From the Threshold Bible Study series, we’ll explore a specific theme throughout the Bible. Over a six week timeframe, we’ll be tracing our topic from the Old Testament through the New. After Easter.
Sign up for the fall Spirituality program during Stewardship Weekend (September 16-17). For more information, please contact the parish office at 763-544-0416.
